1. Data Controller
As the data controller, Av. Aydın operates at Milli Kütüphane Cd. İ.Tepeköylü İş Merkezi No:17/105, Konak/İzmir, and processes your personal data within the scope of the KVKK.
2. Your Personal Data We Process
In order to provide legal consultancy and attorney services, we process the following categories of personal data:
- Identity: Name, surname, Turkish ID number (T.C. Kimlik No) (where required for case/file procedures)
- Contact: Telephone, e-mail, address details
- Legal transaction: Your consultancy request, the subject of your file, case/dispute information, documents you submit
- Transaction security: IP address, date of visit, user browser information
- Marketing: Behavioural data collected through cookies (provided you have given analytics consent)
3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your data is processed for the following purposes:
- Evaluating your legal consultancy request and organising a preliminary meeting
- Establishing the attorney-client relationship, following up cases/files and performing the attorney services
- Conducting the necessary correspondence with official authorities and courts in legal proceedings
- Contacting you in urgent situations
- Carrying out evaluations in order to improve the quality of our services
- Fulfilling our legal obligations (Attorneys' Act [Avukatlık Kanunu], tax legislation, etc.)
- Site analytics activities in line with your cookie consent
4. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred, to the extent permitted by legislation and for the purposes stated above, to the relevant courts, enforcement offices, notaries and other authorised public institutions and organisations, to the experts whose opinions are sought in connection with your file, and to the technical/administrative suppliers from whom we receive services. Within the framework of the duty of confidentiality required by the legal profession, your data is protected as professional secrecy. No transfer abroad is carried out without your explicit consent.
5. Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection
Your personal data is collected through the contact forms on our website, telephone calls, e-mail correspondence, WhatsApp messages and the documents shared during meetings held at our office. As the legal basis, your data is processed under KVKK Article 5/2 (c) — processing being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (the attorney-client relationship), (ç) — compliance with a legal obligation, and (f) — the balancing of legitimate interests.
6. Your Rights under KVKK Article 11
Under the KVKK, as a personal data subject you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed
- To request information if it has been processed
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose
- To know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, in Turkey or abroad
- To request the correction of data processed incompletely or inaccurately
- To request the erasure of your data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
- To request that these operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred
- To object to a result arising against you through analysis by automated systems
- To claim compensation if you have suffered damage due to unlawful processing
7. How to Apply
To exercise the rights listed above, you may fill in the Personal Data Subject Application Form and send it by e-mail to [email protected] or deliver it with a wet-ink signature to Milli Kütüphane Cd. İ.Tepeköylü İş Merkezi No:17/105. Your application will be concluded within 30 days at the latest.
